Final Exodus Songtext
von The Sinsemillian

So begins man′s final exodus
Mars was a bust, consumed by dust
Lucifer was a failure
To secure life on Europa

FINAL EXODUS

Thought we'd try our luck on Venus
But acid rain mostly killed us
So we set our eyes beyond
Hoping another star would take us

FINAL EXODUS

So we load the last of mankind
To leave Earth for the last time
At least the ones who′ll pay the price
Leave the rest to freeze to ice

Trans-generational migration
To the farthest reaches
None of us will live to see it
But here's to hope for our progeny

FINAL EXODUS

Off we go, never heading back
Let's hope there′s something on our track
We′re gonna need a lot of tact
Cos a destination's what we lack

FINAL EXODUS

Will any of us ever arrive?
Will any of us ever see the light of day?
Or are we doomed to extinction?
Have we sealed our own fate?

Find a planet to set upon
But in the end, everyone′s gone
A few hundred is all that stands
Now outstretch our righteous hand
