Faucet Dripping Songtext

Climbing through the apple′s eye
Nearly baked and new baptized
It came to me
Made it just fine, you know
The sixth one's a chime I hear below

All the strings have been pulled
Still my limbs stay behind
Though we′re weary and low
We still wait for a sign

Is it possible we know we're slipping?
We'll lose our grip in the climb
Turning faucets off, we know they′re dripping
We won′t spare nickels for dimes

Buying tooth and nails and hair
Selling papers by the share
It came to this
Hate it, that's fine
Admire the skillful design just down below

All the strings have been pulled
Still my limbs stay behind
We still wait for a show
We′ve seen so many times

Is it possible we know we're slipping?
We′ll lose our grip in the climb
Turning faucets off, we know they're dripping
We won′t spare nickels for dimes

If I could raise my hands so high
I'd hesitate for only a while
Then I'd grab on good and tight
And give it all up just for spite

All the strings have been pulled
Still my limbs stay behind
We still wait for a show
We′ve seen so many times

Is it possible we know we′re slipping?
We'll lose our grip in the climb
Turning faucets off, we know they′re dripping
We won't spare nickels for dimes
Is it possible we know we′re slipping?
We'll lose our grip in the climb
Turning faucets off, we know they′re dripping
We won't spare nickels for dimes
Is it possible we know we're slipping?
We′ll lose our grip in the climb
Turning faucets off, we know they′re dripping
We won't spare nickels for dimes
Is it possible we know we′re slipping?
We'll lose our grip in the climb
Turning faucets off, we know they′re dripping
We won't spare nickels for dimes
