Floated Down & Flew Around Songtext
von The Plastic Constellations

It started when we opened our eyes
We watched the fumes and the choir ignite
We floated down and we flew around
We clung onto the edge of the sky
And watched the steam and the starlight divide
We floated down and we flew around

Look to the east and you′ll see the sun
Over the rocks where we've been chained
Down there are the cities
Down there are the ghost towns
That we used to be tethered to

Now we soar and we race
Oh we speed and we grace

No one′s quite sure just when it came
One day we were stuck and then afloat we reigned

Up here are the stars
Down there are the clouds
That some compared heaven to

Now we soar and we race
Oh we speed and we grace

It started when we opened our eyes
We watched the fumes and the choir ignite
We floated down and we flew around
We clung onto the edge of the sky
And watched the steam and the starlight divide
We floated down and we flew around

It started when we opened our eyes
We watched the fumes and the choir ignite
We floated down and we flew around
We clung onto the edge of the sky
And watched the steam and the starlight divide
We floated down and we flew around
