Friend Songtext
von The Hilgrims

Friend, is it the end?
You don′t know how much I'd love to see you again
Friend, where do you stand?
Is there anything that we could mend?

Not only sin that we received, not only dreams that we believed
There′s a huge hole where you belonged
There's ugly calm without you song

Still rivers are waiting for your stone
Still mountains are sleeping alone
Dead silence is waiting for your voice
Still sisters need your support

Friend, wasn't it splend?
When we recognized the same spirit, Amen
Among us
Friend, I understand
But there′s more than hurt and much more than this death

I′m on my watch, the same old tower
Hope you will come with your guitar
We'll hear anew the old French horn
We′ll love anew, more than before

Still life's not complete without your voice
Still breeze is not half as warm
Old songs will be lost without your notes
Still brother needs your support
On and on
On and on
On and on
