Betrayed by your blissful countenance
Decomposed
Was never a way to live
Realize
I'll never discern this precedence
All the same, I′ll give it a try

Ornamental effigy
Carbon-based anatomy
I'm unconcerned by the optics anyway
Do what you will
With my blunt duplicity

Plant your gaze
On somebody else's greenery
Set ablaze
The brush that you′ve overgrown

Finally
You see the enemy
Just as real
As your envisioning

You have made your case
I′m no longer fazed
Rules we've disengaged
Written on your face


Free myself
From all the beleaguered anguish
And just embrace
All of the uncertainty
Recognize
Although it disheartens to no end
