LAST TIME I CHECKED Songtext
von The Big Hash

Trying to remember why I always keep crawling back
′Cause the last time I checked
I said I was over you and hit the road
Yeah, I packed my bags and moved

Don't know what spell you cast on me
I don′t know what kinda tricks you got up your sleeve
But you sure got me
Is that pussy power you possess in the sheets?
Hate you and I love you at the same time
Trying to hate you more than adore you for how you did me
You made me feel like loving you's a chore
Saw the writing on the wall

Spending nights out in the club
Pouring shots up in your Styrofoam or plastic cup
Word on the block
You thought you saw me and you ducked
Fuck "word on the block", I had my homegirl in your section
Watched you flinch your head when she pulled up
Sitting on someone that's not me
Could you imagine if I did that?
If I had your friends see me on one night with someone that′s not you?
You′d feel like you're having a heart attack

So Trying to remember why I always keep crawling back
′Cause the last time I checked
I said I was over you and hit the road
Yeah, I packed my bags and moved

Woah ooh

Coulda sworn an angel from a distance
Sent from heaven swear God as my witness
Peep the horns oh the devil is a peeking
Well, tell him "nice to meet him"
Why we gotta fight?
Thinking 'bout you daily morning till the night
Thinking i should call you
I know I should let go
But I really want to
I could never say no to you
I wanna get over you so bad
Wanna hold on you
CTRL + ALT + Delete every memory we′ve had
I don't wanna lie shit got me moody
True or false, nigga
Did you use me?
When you picking who to hurt
Why you gotta choose me?
Now you see me spending nights out in the club

Pouring shots up in your Styrofoam or plastic cup
Word on the block
You thought you saw me and you ducked
Fuck "word on the block"
I had my homegirl in your section
Watched you flinch your head when she pulled up
Sitting on someone that′s not me
Could you imagine if I did that?
If I had your friends see me on one night with someone that's not you?
You'd feel like you′re having a heart attack

So Trying to remember why I always keep crawling back
′Cause the last time I checked
I said I was over you and hit the road
Yeah, I packed my bags and moved
Packed my bags and moved
