Girl#3 Songtext
von The Animators

Some days she lies in her bed
Living someone else′s life in her head
Blazing a brilliant trail
Up to the Hollywood Hills
Drop the bills in someone else's mail

Another day of sun on her face
In the valley air it′s so hard to concentrate
Another day of not yet
And she swore fame before regret
But it's so quiet on the set

There's a light in the sky
All these years she′s been steering by
Is it so far from a starlet to a star?

A sea of SUVs and minivans
Where there should have been a throng of adoring fans
The trailer promised so much more
Before the best years of her life
Fell to the cutting room floor

There′s a light in her eyes
That's still waiting to be televised
Is it so far from a starlet to a star?

Ten thousand light years through a telescopic lens
You can just make out the light it sends
Ten thousand light years through a telescopic lens
Do you think we′re gonna be here when it ends?
Ten thousand light years from a starlet to a star
