The Sistine Simulation Songtext

Michelangelo lay on the scaffold high
With paint in his beard and dust in his eye
He chipped at the marble to find the vein
He bargained with God through the physical pain
But I sit slouched in an ergonomic chair
Blue light bathing my thinning hair
No callus on finger, no stain on the smock
Just waiting for the render... watching the clock

This is the Sistine Simulation
A cathedral built on calculation
I reach out my hand to the Adam I made
But the image dissolves, and the pixels fade
There is no spark, no divine ignition
Just a hollow, high-res apparition

I asked for the beauty of sixteen-twelve
I told the machine to deeply delve
It gave me the colors, the shadow, the light
But something within it is not quite right
Look at the fingers, look at the skin
The eyes are too empty, the mouth is too thin
I summoned a David from noise and from static
But he has no soul... only mathematics

I am not a creator. I am a requester
I am a tourist in the gallery of my own imagination
I type "Style of Da Vinci"
And I steal the ghost of a dead man′s hand
To paint a world I do not understand

This is the Sistine Simulation
A cathedral built on calculation
I reach out my hand to the Adam I made
But the image dissolves, and the pixels fade
There is no spark, no divine ignition
Just a hollow, high-res apparition

The fingers... They never touch
They never touch. Glitch
