The angry, ugly faces kept away
Parading rumours spread like a disease
Misery was a vagrant beast
A heavy odor, drifting with the breeze


The city fails to feel
Just like a nursing home it deals necessity
Without a soul
In every passing stranger′s eye you find the loneliness
That they can hold
When love becomes a strange delicacy
And rats and dogs are fucking in the street
Like poison ivy in a vase
This heavy odor's found its resting place
