I once stared at my reflection without fear
And reality appeared so clear
I could see the future of a grown man who held my hand

One glimpse of eternity, I did not foresee
That brought me back to the dark and cold

I tried, oh i tried so hard

But I'm tired of searching for that kind of life

The image of a boy stared me dead in the eyes
And asked "who am I to you?"

I then realised that a part of me was lost
Lost so long ago
