Skylight Songtext
von Taylor Ashton

Running down the alleyway
I clamber up the fire escape
City rooftops, hot pursuit
Holes in the knees of my fancy suit

I try to jump to another roof and I don′t quite make it
I fall down to a skylight and I break it
There's a party going on below and people screaming
To see me crashing down through their ceiling

Well, you might think my back would break
But I land on a giant cake
And there you were, hiding inside
You broke my fall and you saved my life

There′s people running all around and people crying
People in tuxedos, people wearing diamonds
And all of that just disappears as I get lost in your eyes
Amongst the broken glass and the frosting

You were hired to jump out on cue
And then I dropped in and landed on you
Well, I guess I ruined the surprise
I guess I got lost in your eyes
