Excited Songtext
von Tangier

Walkin′ to the station
'Cause I need some information
About the trains goin′ by
Standin' in the line
'Cause I′m gonna take some time out
I can′t pretend to know why
Don't know why
Oh no

Punch the clock by nine
And then it′s off to work fine
But then I can't remember her name
All the people starin′
'Cause they knew what she was wearin′
Enough to drive 'em insane

Got to heed the warnin'
Early in the mornin′
It′s such a typical time
Wakes me up at midnight
Fools, yes, that's a sweet sight
I couldn′t be with no other girl

Excited, you and me
Excited, wait and see
I've got no conscience
I′ve got no control
I really know what it is
I'm standin′ here for
Oh yeah

Got to take some time out
'Cause I really need to find out
Why it was gettin' so deep
Life was never better
Since I broke down and I met her
I′ve never lost so much sleep

Got to heed the warnin′
Early in the mornin'
It′s such a typical time
Wakes me up at midnight
Fools, yes, that's a sweet sight
I couldn′t be with no other girl

Excited, you and me
Excited, wait and see
I've got no conscience
I′ve got no control
I really know what it is
I'm standin' here for

Woo-hoo

Got to heed the warnin′
Early in the mornin′
It's such a typical time
Wakes me up at midnight
Fools, yes, that′s a sweet sight
I couldn't be with no other girl

Excited, you and me
Excited, wait and see
I′ve got no conscience
I've got no control
I really know what it is

Excited, you and me
Excited, wait and see
I′ve got no conscience
I've got no control
I really know what it is
I'm standin′ here for
