Calendar Months Songtext
von Sunny Intervals

The steps to the house spark old memories
Of cycle repairs and cigarette ends by the garage next door
Chairs in the garden on warm summer nights
And a piano plays softly
With its creaking old pedals through the living room wall

I will fall through calendar months at a time
Months at a time

The pebbledash walls chipped away by a tennis ball
And the holes in the lawn
Where the swings used to stand
Replaced by a garden centre statue

I will fall through calendar months at a time
Months at a time
I will fall through calendar months at a time
Months at a time

And a piano plays softly
With its creaking old pedals through the living room wall
