Jukebox Songtext

Jukebox Songtext
Saturday Morning
I can hear my momma snoring
But a song was coming up from the kitchen
I heard a needle scratch
And some humming from my dad
Then he yelled
"Hey come and see what your missing"
There was some plastic there spinning
And my daddy was a grinning
And the music took us all away
I said
"Hey daddy, what is a jukebox?"
I′m dancing out of my new socks
And it sounds so sweet
It sounds so sweet
I said
"Hey daddy, what is a jukebox?"
Got me rolling as it rocks
I feel it in my feet
Feel it in my feet
Oh
It's Sunday night
I′m out of TV time
And I don't get more 'till I′m older
So I dug through the attic
And felt some speakers attached
To a stereo that fit on my shoulder
Then I carried it down
Turned it all the way loud
And we sang the whole night away
I said
"Hey daddy, what is a boombox?"
I′m dancing out of my new socks
And it sounds so sweet
It sounds so sweet
I said
"Hey daddy, what is a boombox?"
Got me rolling as it rocks
I feel it in my feet
Feel it in my feet
Oh
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la
School today
And I wish I could take
All the music that I found on the weekend
Then daddy called my name
And I stopped in place
And he gave me something he's kept a secret
It fit in my hand
Had all my favorite bands
And full of music that could last me for days
I said
"Hey daddy, what is an iPod?"
I′m dancing out of my new socks
And it sounds so sweet
It sounds so sweet
I said
"Hey daddy, what is an iPod?"
Got me rolling as it rocks
I feel it in my feet
Feel it in my feet
And I said
"Hey daddy, what is a jukebox?"
What is a jukebox
What is a boombox
What is an iPod
Hey
I can hear my momma snoring
But a song was coming up from the kitchen

And some humming from my dad
