I Was There Songtext
von Stray Fossa

I saw it clear as I′d hoped
After all these years
You'd say photographs
Leave nothing to talk about
Why stay holding on
If it′s all been kept?

Oh I remember it
So much better now
That I've got nothing to prove
I was there
I was there

You always could
Pull faces right out of the rocks
You'd fill up your phone
With ordinary empty coast
Never needed to show
That you were there

How you′d erase yourself
And I remember it better now
′Cause we had nothing to prove
We were there
