Aviator Songtext
von Stoney LaRue

Like a cross wind blowin′ on an FM road
Offer me direction 'cause I just don′t know
Gotta follow that dust to see where it goes
I just gotta get off this old FM road

It's easier to do when you ride downwind
And who knows if they'll ever come back again
I like the way these Aviators shine
They′ll never know where this road will wind

Well, the boys used to play at the baseball yard (the boys used to play at the baseball yard)
Yeah, always stole the bases, man, they ran so hard (always stole the bases, man, they ran so hard)
Long before anybody ever stole their hearts (the boys used to play at the baseball yard)
Long before anybody ever tried to steal their heart (always stole the bases, man, they ran so hard)

It′s easier to do when you swim downstream
Little less about you, a lot more about me
You like the way these Aviators shine
They're just something to hide behind, hide behind

It′s easier to do when you ride downwind
And who knows if they'll ever come back again
I like the way these Aviators shine
They′ll never know where this road will wind

It's easier to do when you swim downstream
Little less about you, a lot more about me
You like the way these Aviators shine
They′re just something to hide behind, hide behind

Like a cross wind blowin' on an FM road
(Like a cross wind blowin' on an FM road)
You gotta follow that dust to see where it goes
