Seems that summer′s in three hours time
I thought that spring had just begun her rhyme
Winter's gone, her memory′s faded
I sit here wondering how I've been persuaded

Had a strange call from a junkie last night
I thought that voice didn't seem quite right
Seems that summer′s only two hours away
I think I′ll awaken to a summer's day


Dusty roads and cosmic radio
Listen Ruby, got a matter, is it really that far to go?
Rainbow shining through on a Friday night
My friend and I don′t even question why
We both know

Seems that summer will be here soon
It only seems a couple of months since June
I just keep thinking of her face the other night
It looked so wondrous and filled with delight
Filled by spirit oceans, they're open too
But slight within, the door is open
