Soundtrack Songtext
von Stephen Day

I′m a fast car on a friday in the fast lane on the highway to your apartment
Then it's two flights up the fire escape till the moonlight and the city shine on your face

Before I knew you life was quiet
Nothing would stand out of the silence

And I wanted the sound back
And you gave me a soundtrack

I′m a long way from a good man but I could be holding your hand tonight
And if it's always or a short while at least I know now and I know where to find it

Before I knew you I was tired
Nothing was really that inspired

And I wanted the sound back
And you gave me a soundtrack

[INSTRUMENTAL]

And I wanted the sound back
And you gave me a soundtrack
