It must have been at the end of January
It was still cold, but not below zero
I was walking my friends dog in the early morning
I saw a young lady on this small frozen pond in the park
Across from the corner of our street
At first i thought that she was ice-skating
But I noticed, that she didn′t wear skates


I fact she was dancing
Like in a club
Like to a fast beat
And she wasn't dressed like wintertime
She wore a short skirt
Indigo blue

I was wondering if the ice was still safe
Just for a moment i was distracted
By a noise from the other side of the street
The dog was startled
Then looking back in her direction
She wasn′t there anymore
There was just some cold uncertain chill
