Everything was planned except the money
And you thought you′d never leave

Landing gear, retract into the undercarriage
No homesick fear, you want to get away from where you started from

Mid-flight turbulence, nonchalant talk
Until the bumps turn into shocks
And next you wish you'd walked

Captain announces the plane's going down
The landing strip′s nowhere to be found
And then not one more sound

Feeling sick, you try to be mature, accepting
Your plans never stick, you tuck your head between legs and hope that you land
