Blessed Songtext
von Soul Liberation

Blessed are the pure in heart
For they shall see God
Blessed are the merciful
For they receive mercy
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst
For they shall be filled
Blessed are the poor in spirit
For heaven is theirs

Don′t you know you are the salt of the earth?
Guiding men to the new birth
Don't you know you are the light of the world?
You are blessed

Blessed are the peacemakers
For they shall be called sons of God
Blessed are those who mourn
For they shall be comforted
Blessed are those who are persecuted
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Blessed are the meek
For they shall inherit the earth

Don′t you know you are the salt of the earth?
Guiding men to the new birth
Don't you know you are the light of the world?

Don't you know you′re blessed
Above all men
Don′t you know you're blessed
And you are free from all sin
Don′t you know, don't you know
Don′t you know, don't you know
Don′t you know, don't you know
You are blessed

Above all men
You are blessed
And you are free from all sin
Don't you know you are the light of the world?

Don′t you know you are the salt of the earth?
Guiding men to the new birth
Don′t you know you are the light of the world?
You are blessed
Above all men
You are blessed
