Keep On Songtext
von Smile

We finished runner-up
Behind the number one
It came as no surprise
Because we′ve never won
And we're already used to losing
But we can′t get used to losing you
So before you think of quitting
Think about why you started

The smiles on our faces
Springs in our steps
The older we are
The more we regret
The things we didn't do
Chances we didn't take
The smiles on our faces
Springs in our steps
The older we are
The more we regret

Pause if you must, but don′t stop

We finished second-best
Behind the champion
It came as no surprise
Because we′ve never won
And we're already used to losing
But we can′t get used to losing you
So before you think of quitting
Think about why you started

The smiles on our faces
Springs in our steps
The older we are
The more we regret
The things we didn't do
Chances we didn′t take
The smiles on our faces
Springs in our steps
The older we are
The more we regret

Pause if you must, but don't stop

Keep on keepin′ on
Keep on keepin' on
Keep on keepin' on
Pause if you must, but don′t stop
Keep on keepin′ on
Keep on keepin' on
Keep on keepin′ on
Pause if you must, but don't stop

Touring can oftentimes be mundane, drive you insane
Heavy dance music drilling into your brain
A perch, perjury, a Starbucks truck stops and road signs
But also in exile, I can free our minds
There′s always a bump on the road that you didn't see coming
But it will take more than that to stop us from going
So hop on, come on, keep on keepin′ on
Together we will find a way to carry on
