Mankind Degeneration Songtext
von Smashed Face

The time has come, the showdown is here
We have been destroying and killing
And never thought that one day
Everything will turn against us

The sky once blue is now so strangely grey
The heavy air has not moved for days
I do not know what sunshine looks like anymore
All I know is the depressing grey

The water in the streams has a weird look and smell
All trees have withered, there are no blooming flowers

Black rain falls from the sky biting the skin
Cauterizing metals and plastics like acid
Everything is poisoned, it is hard to breathe
Shedding of hair and nails

Monstrous ulcers form on the body and burst
I cannot see anymore, my skin wrinkles and sheds
The body shows bizarre growth

Self-destructive system set long time ago
Now we have time to think about our deeds
Human selfishness now holds the mirror against us
The time has come, the showdown is here
