Barren fields, overcast grey
Like a sunless winter day
Take me where the summer went
To vibrant vales of blooming scent
Through chiming winds that fill the air
When life was young, when days were fair


And I crave, and I yearn
For the sun to return
That's my choice, that′s my plan
To head back where it began

Keen ideas that shaped a dream
Like waterfalls, an endless stream
Now the awe is wearing thin
Teeth of time are sinking in
Right the wrongs, in hindsight
In my quest to reignite
What is lost, has gone astray
