In this never ending nightmare

This crippling fear that haunts me
Leaves me breathless and paralyzed
In a state of mind where the terror
Never seems to subside
It finds a home inside my head
Makes me feel like I am dead
I keep telling myself
It′s only temporary
You can get through this

Time and time again
It doesn't seem to get any easier
But I′ve grown to embrace this
This crippling fear that surrounds me
I can't wake up

My dreams play pretend
This hell never ends
From every corner of the room
It weighs heavy on my chest
Running out of breath

Like a poison without an antidote
Things may never get better
But in my dreams I′ve realized
It's not always what it seems

It's a lifetime of constant struggle and pain
