And deliver us from wars we loathe
All we want is to come home

Suddenly
Has so much more validity
We beg you now to guarantee
Protection from all tragedy
Killing in foreign lands
For reasons we don't understand
Obeying orders simply to please
Cowardly authorities

So dear god
If you′re even there
Listen to our solemn prayer
We're casting stones
