NEW GENERATION Songtext
von Sierra Levesque

Walking down the street
And I think ′bout what it was like
What it was like in the good times
Playing those guitars
Wembley, 1985
When I wish that I was alive

And everyone around us, they don't know the songs we′re singing
But our rock and roll won't ever go away

Hey, hey
We're the new generation
Hey, hey
We are back in circulation
Hey, hey
We′re the new generation
You′re rockin' with the new generation today

Girls are pushed away
Told that we can′t rock the same
And that we're only makin′ noise
They've made a mistake
We don′t listen when they say
Rock n roll is only for boys

Everyone around us, they don't like the songs we're singing
But our rock and roll won′t ever go away

Hey, hey
We′re the new generation
Hey, hey
We are back in circulation
Hey, hey
We're the new generation
You′re rockin' with the new generation today

Hey, hey
We′re the new generation
Hey, hey
We're the new generation
Hey, hey
We′re the new generation
You can say what you want, but rock n roll is here to stay

Hey, hey
We're the new generation
Hey, hey
We are back in circulation
Hey, hey
We're the new generation
You′re rockin′ with the new generation today
Hey, hey
We're the new generation
Hey, hey
We are back in circulation
Hey, hey
We′re the new generation
You can say what you want, but rock n roll is here to stay

It's here to stay
