The setting sun glared back at me
With everything it had
And tinted those glasses red
I shook my head and it made me smile a bit
Watching all those trippy colors
Trip around and round

And every time I see that sight
It brings me back to the time when I didn′t have so much
And one more day hopped a plane
And it took me back to the place where programs were all routine
And my smile had lost some steam

And all it seems that we take
And give and sometimes it seems fake
But we shouldn't give in
And all it seems that we give
Is sometimes stuck in our own heads
But no one seems to think


The setting sun dropped that horizon
With everything it had
And tinted those glasses dark
Clouds started to turn dark grey
I think they looked like holes in the sky
Gleaning dark black blue oceans

And every time I see that sight
It brings me back to the time when I didn′t have so much
And why can't we all just be a little considerate
When we got a bit and then we'll all smile

And all it seems that we take
And give and sometimes it seems fake
But we shouldn′t give in
And all it seems that we give
Is sometimes stuck in our own heads
But no one seems to think

And outlines painted all I saw
