Your mother screams as she turns to see several sets of eyes peering from the Darkness in the treeline just outside

The blood in your veins freezes
And your heart slows to a crawling beat
Long, withered fingers reach out from the closet
Grasping to drag you home

Your soul is
Entangled
Your body
Been mangled

And as your body and mind are slowly devoured
You finally begin to feel at peace
