Ignite the aluminum halo
And glow in cathode ash
Smolder, with vulgar accuracy, through infectious ideas of death
With an oily glare, you are watched

Are you dreaming in their language
The quiet language of unseen emptiness
Will your eyes dilate and view the haunt in the universe


Can you see them now
Mauled bodies, lost and bitter, wandering towards some miraculous hell

"Hell, at last." They think
But only are they the pioneers of a new grief
Scholars of higher pain
Always needing something to walk towards

The great exemplars of a humanity we used to dream of becoming
Now, they are only dreams
Scurrying, burrowing dreams

Are you dreaming in their language
