Emeryville Songtext
von Secondshot

I can′t remember how we got here
Eighty years can cause a memory to fade
I think it was a stop gap that I moved to around twenty-five
But never really found a way to leave
One year it's women, drugs and alcohol
More entertaining, all in all
Than sitting on my ass watching TV

We seemed a million years from getting bored
But just a few from being on our way
We′re taking a train to

I don't remember what the point was
I don't like to spend time living in the past
There might have been a couple times we tried to move away
But nothing ever really seemed to last

We had an open bar on Alcatraz
A shit apartment full of trash
An open tab on University

We seemed a million years from getting bored
But just a few from being on our way
We′re taking a train to Emeryville
