In a storm
Raindrops fall, forgotten on the ground
While we wait for lightning strikes
And the ground
Greedily drinks up and starts to dry
Without thanking any clouds

Sound familiar
We′re at a similar point in life
We forget about the good things
While the bad things bleed us dry


Another shot rings out
Aimlessly across the open sky
While the earth bends, terrified
Another crash, another boom
Another tree succumbs
In a forest full of life
Till a rainbow fills the sky

We all concentrate on bad things
While the good things pass us by
