Postcard Songtext
von Sean Solomon

Postcard Songtext

I looked through the window
It looked just like a postcard
Something I could never touch
I felt the distance
The coldness of life
I think I love you too much

We started yelling
Inside our favorite restaurant
I care what everyone else thinks
Took off my shoes to walk
On stained carpets
I spit my blood out in the sink

Tell me why
Tell me why I have to die
To remember that I′m alive

Bad news
I'm expecting it from you
I don′t know how to go on
Bad news
There's nothing left to lose
I don't know how to go on

The TV stayed on
In the hotel while we slept
My resentment snowballed
I put no effort
Into reaching out to you
But I′m still upset you never called

Tell me why
Tell me why I have to die
To remember that I′m alive

Bad news
I'm expecting it from you
I don′t know how to go on
Bad news
There's nothing left to lose
I don′t know how to go on

Bad news
I'm expecting it from you
I don′t know how to go on
Bad news
There's nothing left to lose
I don't know how to go on
