White Light Songtext
von Saving Face
White Light Songtext
I wasn′t ready to die yet
Breath made repair, chest had collapsed from the lapse
My helpless body hung limp there
Caught in between, a crease in the seam of the earth and ice
Trying to swallow me whole
I was kept just from death I knew that I wasn't ready yet
A selfless act brought me back to life as I regained consciousness
I gasped as I tried to claim air
My chest burnt as I exhaled despair
For I declared, a brush with deaths stare
I wasn′t ready to let go just yet
They say death is reflective observation
Of how you could have changed things
I sustained that and I came back
I was taken by white light, I saw the end
Vacillating through endless skyline I returned
Crawling away crawling from the hands of death I reprieve my fate
Won't waste my life again
I won't take it for granted
As I returned to full consciousness
Looked to the sky relaxed my chest
I could feel my pulse matching my breath
As I pushed back the hands of death
Just when I couldn′t breathe air, I fill my lungs
Fill my lungs
Stare into mortality
An unconscious state of being free
I can′t contemplate my time left here
Flashed before my eyes feeling every thing
Soaking up every time I woke up as I rose with the sun
Choking up every breath in my lungs
I climb out of this hole
I can feel my heart beating here
I can feel my heart beating through my chest
Just when I couldn't breathe air I repair
A small rush fills my lungs, and I stare into depths of mortality
I am swept through a conscious release
This experience with death has granted me
Unconditional vows to reprieve myself of all wrong
My past conceived
Swept through a conscious new state of being
Breath made repair, chest had collapsed from the lapse
My helpless body hung limp there
Caught in between, a crease in the seam of the earth and ice
Trying to swallow me whole
I was kept just from death I knew that I wasn't ready yet
A selfless act brought me back to life as I regained consciousness
I gasped as I tried to claim air
