Since I’ve Gone Songtext
von Sara Storer

I′ve swam this river many times
And I've even faced its dangers in the wet
Me and my mate, some scotch and a canoe
We just missed the biggest tree that you can get

But I love my mate and I love this place
A place where all your worries gone
Yeah, I′ve swam this river many times
But I've never missed you so much since I've gone

I′ve hit this gravel road many times
And I′m jumping right out of my skin
Me and my mate, well she didn't slow down
We took the bend, we took some trees and then a skid

Oh but I love my mate and I love this place
A place where all your worries gone
Yeah, I′ve hit this gravel road many times
But I've never missed you so much since I′ve gone

I've been underneath these stars many times
And I′ve even seen a meteor hit
Me and my mate, we saw a big flash of light
And we said, "Holy boom!"

Oh I love my mate and I love this place
A place where all your worries gone
Yeah, I've been underneath these stars many times
But I've never missed you so much since I′ve gone

I′ve had a Sunday at this bar many times
And I've been and seen the drinks at this well
Me and my mate, we heard a wheelie outside
Then the ute came smashing through the wall

Oh well I laughed with the mates and I love this place
A place where all your worries gone
Yeah, I′ve hit this gravel road many times
But I've never missed you so much since I′ve gone

Yeah, I've swam this river many times
But I′ve never missed you so much since I've gone
