When She Gets Blue Songtext

When She Gets Blue Songtext

I have this friend, she′s diverse
Hard to get to know if you go by face value of words
She's like a light that shines
Only to leave you in the darkness when you
try to understand what′s behind the blinds

When she glides
Lightly above us on the surface of things
When gets blue
She's blue like the women in Chagall paintings
It doesn't bring her down
She takes me in when she comes round
And she knows just what to say to bring me up when I′m down
So when I ask her how she′s holding up
She starts drifting and her gaze disappears
into the blackness of the coffee in her cup
When she glides
Lightly above us on the surface of things
When gets blue
She's blue like the women in Chagall paintings
It doesn′t bring her down
No it doesn't bring her down
But no one can follow when she goes
No it doesn′t bring her down
So from the loneliest of places she glows
But it doesn't bring her down
I have this friend
She′s like art
It may not make any sense
But there's something about her that goes straight to heart
When she glides
Lightly above us on the surface of things
When gets blue
She's blue like the women in Chagall paintings
It doesn′t bring her down
