Aiming for the Sun Songtext
von Sandy Dane

Nineteen fifteen
Is what the clock points out
Still hanging around
In the same old town

And today is the same as it was yesterday
Hey, how are you? Goodbye
Now I′m raising my hands
Letting go of the plans
Embracing the open sky

I'm aiming for the sun
I′m tired of the rain
I'm gonna get back on my feet again
I'm shaking off the dust
I′m heading for the light
Straight into a wonderful life

Roll out of bed
Don′t wanna get up
I'm tired of hearing
That I′ve got more than enough

'Cause today is the same as it was yesterday
Hey, how are you? Goodbye
Now I′m raising my hands
Letting go of the plans
Embracing the open sky

I'm aiming for the sun
I′m tired of the rain
I'm gonna get back on my feet again
I'm shaking off the dust
I′m heading for the light
Straight into a wonderful life

Just another day
Just another face
All the same clones as before
But I don′t wanna join the circus anymore

I'm aiming for the sun
I′m tired of the rain
I'm gonna get back on my feet again
I′m shaking off the dust
I'm heading for the light
Straight into a wonderful life

I′m aiming for the sun
I'm tired of the rain
I'm gonna get back on my feet again
I′m shaking off the dust
I′m heading for the light
Straight into a wonderful life

I'm aiming for the sun
I′m tired of the rain
I'm gonna get back on my feet again
I′m shaking off the dust
I'm heading for the light
Straight into a wonderful life
