Beauty Songtext

Beauty Songtext
A mother finds true beauty in her daughter′s face
A husband senses wonder in his wife's own warm embrace
Another finds real grandeur in Mozart′s symphony
Da Vinci's Mona Lisa or in Shakespeare's poetry
The heights of Himalaya and the Niagara Falls
The pyramids, the temples and the sight of Taj Mahal
The planets and the galaxies, the stars in the skies
The colours of the rainbow and the beautiful sunrise
Everywhere in this world there′s beauty all around
There′s sparks of perfect splendour waiting to be found
Are these moments all there is, a fading dream?
Or is there something greater in the yet unseen?
Do they point to someone greater longing to be seen?
The eye seeks colours and shapes and forms but isn't satisfied
The ear hears noises, music and sound but fullness it′s denied
The nose smells spices, perfume and food but still it yearns for more
The hand senses surface and shape but still cries out "Encore"
(One, two, three, four)
Now let me take you to a man who hangs on a tree
His face is struck by pain, his body shakes in agony
Now I have never seen a more magnificent place
For when I look at Him, I see the sight of God's grace
Everywhere in this world there′s beauty all around
They all point to their Maker waiting to be found
He has shown all His glory there on Calvary
Where the Son of God, He suffered for you and me
In love, He chose to suffer to set us free
In love, He chose to suffer to set us free
Where the Son of God, He suffered for you and me
A husband senses wonder in his wife's own warm embrace
Another finds real grandeur in Mozart′s symphony
