And you′re tired
Have coffee
Then you're tired again
And it′s the small victories
A ballpoint pen that's new
The feeling of a cold
And how it never broke through A scornful smile that never came
Someone new who walks past you
And doesn't look away
Let′s travel to another continent
Help out at a hospital
Whatever it is they do
Have hats feel like we′re doing something
Make up for every time we never did anything
What good would I be dizzy at the sight of blood?
I would take a notepad and lie still useless in the mud
I guess one would be useless wherever one would be
