I′m trying to be whole again
But my light is getting slighter than my dark
The cold ground swallowed my only friend
Without her my world just fell apart

Tidal waves brought emptiness
A hollow void inside my chest
Collapsing like my lungs in a vice


Tidal waves can

Drown my days in
Memories of razor lights
Take my hand, guide the way

Silence fills my home again
In her absence there's an anchor on my heart
So how can I pretend to be fine
While she lays in a box made of pine?

I′ll watch the shore a little more
My only thought I can't ignore
To lie down and wait for the tide
