Simon Says Songtext
von Roy Schneider

Simon says "Freeze."
Before you bring your big hand down on me
Won′t you please love on me and tell me a story?
About a little child living in a world of make-believe
Where every day, he can live and play and never have to worry
That he might just say the wrong thing
Or remind you of someone who hurt you
I'm not them, so please don′t hurt me
I am only learning – I am learning
Unfreeze
No... I didn't say "Simon Says"
So I'd like to bring a little thing way up to your attention

You know I - I am your pure hungry seedling
Looking up to you, the things you do, and all of your intentions
But I′ve got these bruises on my body
Can you kiss them and tell me why they′re here
And on my guiltless heart, when I am only learning?
I am learning
And if I should say the wrong thing
Or remind you of someone who hurt you
I'm not them, so please don′t hurt me
I am only learning – I am learning
Simon says
...Unfreeze!
