Halfway Songtext
von Roswell Six
Halfway Songtext
I wake up each day as I did before.
I do the same things
And I do them some more.
Seems like no one noticed the change in my life.
It′s the same . . . but different.
It's so different. . . .
My clothes are the same.
I haven′t changed my hair.
I go to work and I try to care.
Why does no one notice the change in my life?
It's the same . . . but different.
My mind is only halfway here,
My heart is always halfway there,
Because my other half is otherwhere.
He's otherwhere. . . .
Every hope that I had sailed with him that day,
And till he′s back at my side
I′ve tucked my dreams away.
It's so different. . . .
I walk the same streets and I greet my friends.
But my loneliness never seems to end.
How could no one notice this change in my life?
It′s the same . . . but different.
My mind is only halfway here,
My heart is always halfway there,
Because my other half is otherwhere.
He's otherwhere. . . .
It′s so different. . . .
It's so different. . . .
It′s so different. . . .
It's so different. . . .
I do the same things
And I do them some more.
Seems like no one noticed the change in my life.
It′s the same . . . but different.
It's so different. . . .
My clothes are the same.
I haven′t changed my hair.
I go to work and I try to care.
Why does no one notice the change in my life?
It's the same . . . but different.
My mind is only halfway here,
My heart is always halfway there,
Because my other half is otherwhere.
He's otherwhere. . . .
Every hope that I had sailed with him that day,
And till he′s back at my side
I′ve tucked my dreams away.
It's so different. . . .
I walk the same streets and I greet my friends.
But my loneliness never seems to end.
How could no one notice this change in my life?
It′s the same . . . but different.
My mind is only halfway here,
My heart is always halfway there,
Because my other half is otherwhere.
He's otherwhere. . . .
It′s so different. . . .
It's so different. . . .
It′s so different. . . .
It's so different. . . .
