Cattle Call Songtext

Cattle Call Songtext
The cattle are prowlin′
The coyotes are howlin'
Way out where the doggies bawl
His spurs are a-jinglin′
The cowboy is singin'
His lonesome cattle call
He's as brown as a berry
From riding the prairie
And he sings with a slow western drawl
Now for hours he would ride
On the plains far and wide
Where the dust winds blow up with a squall
His heart is a feather
In all kinds of weather
Singing his cattle call
He rides in the sun
Till his day′s work is done
And he rounds up the cattle each morn
The coyotes are howlin'
Way out where the doggies bawl
His spurs are a-jinglin′
The cowboy is singin'
His lonesome cattle call
He's as brown as a berry
From riding the prairie
And he sings with a slow western drawl
Now for hours he would ride
On the plains far and wide
Where the dust winds blow up with a squall
His heart is a feather
In all kinds of weather
Singing his cattle call
He rides in the sun
Till his day′s work is done
And he rounds up the cattle each morn
