There was a girl named Taya, and she was going shopping with her
Father, and her father pushed the cart up the aisle and down the
Aisle, up the aisle and down the aisle, up the aisle and down the
Aisle. And Taya says, "My dad is not very smart, he doesn′t get good
Food, he gets eggs, milk, cheese. He doesn't get ice cream, chocolate
Bars, candy." So Taya got her own cart, she pushed it away, snuck

Away from her dad, went to where the ice cream was, into her cart she
Put 100 boxes of ice cream, pushed it up behind her dad and says, "
Daddy, look!" The daddy turned around and says, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
" Taya says, "Daddy, good food." "That′s not good food, that's sugary
Junk, it'll rot your teeth, it′ll make you dumb, oh it′s terrible
Stuff." She says, "Put it all back." She pushed back the ice cream

Put it all back, and she meant to go right back to her dad but she
Had to go past the chocolate bars, and into her cart she put 200
Chocolate bars, pushed it up behind her dad, she says, "Daddy, look
" The daddy went, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Taya says, "Daddy, good
Food." "That's not good food, it′s sugary junk, it'll rot your teeth
And it′ll make your brain dumb." "Oh dear," says Taya, she pushed
Back the cart, put it all back. When she came back to dad, he says


"Okay Taya, you stand here and don't move." She knew she was in
Trouble, she stood like this, she didn′t move at all. A man came by
From the store, he knocked her on top of the head, she didn't move
"Must be a doll," said the man. He picked up Taya, put her on the

Shelf, put a price tag right on her nose, $29.95. Taya stood there
Right beside the dolls, a man came by and said, "Look at that lovely
Doll, that's a very nice doll, I′m going to get it for my little
Girl." He picked up Taya by the ear and Taya said, "Stooooooooooooop!
" The man said, "It′s a lie!" He ran out of the store. A lady came by
Looked at Taya and said, "Oh what a lovely doll, I'm going to buy
That doll for my little girl." Picked up Taya by the nose and Taya
Said, "Stooooooooooooop!" The lady said, "It′s a lie!" And she ran

Out of the store. Taya's dad came by, he′s looking for Taya, he says

"Taya, Taya, Taya, Taya, what are you doing on that shelf?" Taya
Says, "I'm up here and people are trying to buy me." The dad says, "
Oh Taya, nobody′s going to buy you." He took her down off the shelf
Went to the front of the store. The man at the cash register says, "
Hey Mister, you gotta pay for the little kid, says so right on
Her nose, $29.95." Dad says, "No, this is my own kid, I don't
Pay for my own kid." Man says, "Yes." Dad says, "No." Man says
"Yes." Dad says, "No." Taya says, "Daddy, don't you think
I′m worth $29.95?" Dad says, "Oh, yes you are." He reaches in
His pocket, gets the money, puts down the money, gives Taya


A great big hug, Taya gives him a great big kiss, and then
She said, "Daddy, you finally bought something good after all."
