We′ve grown quite a dependency
On self serving apathy
And knowingly we all try to black it out

A lost mind to the 10th degree
A heightened sense of emergency
Not knowing what life is all about

On this side of me

Blood dripping right from your sleeve
Knee deep in the cause and effect of the lives we live


Pockets filled with cement and greed
Never getting support we need
Understanding we don't have more to give
