Signed up for a seminar and paid the registration fee
For a retreat in the country with a bunch of other men
They're trying to find the redneck from within

On the weekdays I wear my business suit
On the weekends I put on my cowboy boots
I′m trying to be as country as I can be
I'm getting in touch with the redneck inside of me


It's about time I got in touch with the inner redneck
That little redneck that′s there inside us all
And now most every weekend
I′ll bring out the redneck from within
While my big haired woman goes shopping at the mall

Well I bought me a rifle and I bought me a pickup truck
And I went right out and I shot me a 10 point buck
And I hung it upside down from a tree
I'm getting in touch with the redneck inside of me

It′s about time I got in touch with the inner redneck
That little redneck that's there inside us all
