Passengers Songtext

As the days grow colder
And the sunlight dims
It′s hard to not feel older
As the winter ends

Can we admit that we're
Holding on despite our grip?
But then how long can we
Hold the tide to keep from floating in?

Why live in the past?
Every step we take could be our last
Time waits for none
We′re just passengers with no destination

As the wind blows over
The fields of immenseness
Do we run for cover
Or feign indifference?

Memories cascade
One year passes and another fades
Still we move on
Flying towards the sun while keeping in the shade

Why live in the past?
Every step we take could be our last
Time waits for none
We're just passengers with no destination

How far, how far must we have to fall before we land?
No one, no one fades, must we turn to dust again?

Now the clock just ticks away
Seems like time moves faster
But the wheel won't stop turning
We′re just passengers

Why live in the past?
Every step we take could be our last
Time waits for none
We′re just passengers with no destination

How far, how far must we have to fall before we land?
No one, no one fades, must we turn to dust again?
