Persephone Songtext

Persephone Songtext

In the hall over the mountains
Watching us, do as they will
The younger of the twelve
Lets her thoughts fly in delve

His sibling asks for permission
For his daughter to see married
With the father′s bendition
To the Underworld the bride is carried

Mother's great grief
Grows like the tides
Lets the crops wither
Winter has come

Six in the light, shine in their own right
Six in the dark, lighting the spark

On the Earth, people are dying
Nature is slowly decaying
In the wind you hear their prayers
For the girl to be returned

The God of Death agrees to release her
But before she leaves he tricks her
With the damned fruit he offers
He condemns the world to suffer

Mother′s great grief
Grows like the tides
Lets the crops wither
Winter has come

Six in the light, shine in their own right
Six in the dark, lighting the spark

Six in the light, shine in their own right
Six in the dark, lighting the spark
Oh Pherein Phonon, the one who brings the end
Lady of the flowers, the queen of the dead
