I never figured out who put the tablets in my drink
The poison worked so fast, I poured the last drop down the sink
I never quite recovered, I′m always half asleep
With one eye always peering out from underneath the sheet
And no one knows I'm here, I covered up my tracks

I guess it was an accident a couple years ago
