Stunts Songtext

Two Four
Death comes just once in a lifetime
Not even once every year
Its the rattle in your cage
Its a book with one page
You read once and you never read again

Now love it might come and it might go
It might not be there in the morning
And it might not make the show
You might have built it a home
But you′ve always kind of known
You'd be alone when the cavalry came

And these angels that we′ve named after us
No they can't help us with that no they can't help us with much
They are useless for anything
But what we all kind of hope is that some day
They′ll finally wake up

And death don′t mean to cause you any troubles
He does all of his stunts himself
So take off all your clothes and pick up a hose
There's a slip n′ slide out in the back

And these angels that we've named after us
No they can′t help with that they can't help us with much
They are useless for anything
But what we all kind of hope is that some day
They′ll finally wake up

So hand me that last cup of water
Water?
I'll drink it up all by myself
I've hollowed out this hole
Yeah I′ve figured out this role
I′m playing me and you are playing you
And the scene is just us lonesome two
